Karen Paul Holmes has two full-length poetry collections, No Such Thing as Distance (Terrapin, 2018) and Untying the Knot (Aldrich, 2014). She was chosen as a Best Emerging Poet by Stay Thirsty Media. Her publications include Prairie Schooner, Valparaiso Review, Diode, Poet Lore, and other journals and anthologies. Holmes hosts The Side Door Poets in Atlanta and Writers’ Night Out in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Jane Simpson is the author of On the Porch, Under the Eave (FutureCycle, 2017) for which she received the 2018 Georgia Author of the Year Award for Poetry Chapbook. Her most recent book, Blessings of the Beasts (FutureCycle, 2018), tells the story of her first job as a Staff Assistant in the Carter White House. Her poems have appeared in Atlanta Review, BorderSenses, The Chattahoochee Review, Main Street Rag, Poet Lore, Psaltery and Lyre, and elsewhere. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
